ION V2X has improved on the older version, opting to clearly release the exact amount of each ingredient contained in the formulation (a big plus), and removing ingredients that have little clinical efficacy backing up their inclusion. What we have left is an arguably bare boned pre-workout supplement, but not in a bad way, since ingredients that are included are likely to deliver the best bang for your buck anyway. The most exciting upgrade to ION V2X would have to be the Terra Intelligent dosing Energy Matrix, which slowly delivers stimulant ingredients throughout your work out to help keep your energy levels up (the older version did not moderate caffeine release). Considering that the supplement also contains the standards you have come to expect of a good product, including citrulline, beta alanine and other nootropic and performance enhancing ingredients, what you have is a solid candidate for use by athletes of all experience levels. Hard-core stimulant junkies may also be pleasantly surprised, given as long as the patented intelligent dosing energy matrix works the way as expected.
As a dietary supplement, adults mix 1 serving (1 scoop) with 8 ounces of cold water 20-30 minutes prior to workout. Do not exceed one (1) scoop per day.
